De functie
Kubus Sports groeit hard en heeft grote ambities. Wij willen in de komende 5 jaar onze omzet verdubbelen. Funsports is de grootste categorie binnen het bedrijf. Binnen Funsports worden artikelen verkocht voor onder andere kitesurfen, wingfoilen, SUPpen en windsurfen. Het Funsports team in Nijkerk is verantwoordelijk voor alle verkopen van de merken Naish, Prolimit en STX in de EMEA regio. Voor dit internationale team zijn wij op zoek naar een enthousiaste en resultaatgerichte senior accountmanager voor de Benelux.
Jouw werkzaamheden zullen onder andere gaan bestaan uit:
- Promoten en verkopen van de merken NAISH, Prolimit en STX in de BENELUX;
- Testdagen en events organiseren in overleg met onze klanten;
- Onderhouden en uitbouwen van bestaande relaties en plegen van acquisitie;
- Planmatig werken vanuit een accountplan;
- Informeren en rapporteren over marktontwikkelingen;
- Input geven aan de R&D afdeling ten behoeve van productontwikkeling;
- Meebouwen aan de volgende stap en toekomstvisie van Kubus Sports.
Het Bedrijf
Kubus Sports is gevestigd in Nijkerk, Hood River (VS) en Maui (VS) en al ruim 50 jaar merkenhouder en importeur van Premium Brand sportartikelen. Wij zijn succesvol en hebben sterke groeiambities. Het team van Kubus Sports, bestaande uit ruim veertig collega’s, is enthousiast, gedreven en zorgt voor de ontwikkeling en distributie van uiteenlopende A-merk sportartikelen op gebied van watersport, water-funsporten, wintersport en hockey in ruim 60 landen. Deze merken zijn o.a. Naish, Prolimit, STX, Ohana, ATOM, O’Brien, Brabo, Princess, Shockdoctor, Elan, Nitro, Giro, Level, Red Bull spect, Komperdell, Zhik en Crewsaver.
Jouw profiel
- Je hebt een watersport achtergrond in kitesurfen, foilen en wingen, SUP of windsurfen.
- Je beschikt over een hbo-werkniveau
- Je bent commercieel, ondernemend, creatief, ambitieus, een doorzetter en houdt van een uitdaging;
- Beschikbaar voor 40 uur per week;
- Relevante werkervaring van minimaal 5 jaar;
- Een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift;
- Goed kunnen werken met Microsoft Office pakket.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies tailored to the extreme watersports and fieldhockey communities to effectively engage and nurture leads, retain existing customers, and drive business growth.
• Serve your B2C and B2B customers with tangible and captivating email newsletters and campaigns aimed at informing, inspiring and converting into sales.
• Utilize marketing automation tools such as Klavio to streamline campaign execution, segment audiences based on their interests, and deliver personalized messaging.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyze campaign performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement, ensuring campaigns deliver maximum impact and ROI.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in similar role.
• Proven experience in email marketing, with a strong understanding of marketing automation tools and best practices.
• Passion for extreme watersports and affinity with field hockey (or a strong willingness to dive into those sports)
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills, as you will be shaping the message that goes to thousands of sports enthusiasts and retailers across the globe.
• Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques to enhance campaign performance and drive results.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative campaign ideas and inspire action.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.

Kubus Sports is looking to strengthen its marketing team with an energetic and driven Trade Marketing manager with a passion for extreme watersports, hockey and wintersports. Kubus Sports works closely with its trade partners, that include offline and online retailers, agents and importers and we are looking for someone that can take our partnership with our partners to the next level. What does that mean? It is all about understanding and catering to the needs of our trade partners and ensuring that our partners get the support they need from Kubus to do what they do best: promote and sell the products of the Kubus Sports brands. Working closely with the commercial team at Kubus you will be instrumental in ensuring that the consumer experience of our brands in the offline and online stores of our trade partners is the best it can be.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute trade marketing strategies tailored to each sales channel (online and offline) to enhance the consumer experience and drive sales of Kubus Sports brands and products.
• Build strong relationships with trade partners, agents, and importers through effective communication, collaboration, and support, driving loyalty and engagement with the Kubus Sports brands.
• Collaborate with trade partners to create compelling in-store and online merchandising displays, ensuring that Kubus Sports products are prominently featured and effectively communicated to consumers.
• Execute campaigns and activations alongside retailers and collaborate on defining the interpretation of marketing contributions.
• Provide training and support to agents and importers on Kubus Sports brands, products, and marketing campaigns, enabling them to effectively promote and sell the portfolio in their respective markets.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years working experience in similar role.
• Passion for extreme watersports, field hockey and winter sports.
• Strong communicator and commercially savvy.
• Able to translate our brands’ messages and product line-up to the world of the retailer; understanding his/her point of view and merging it with our objectives.
• Excellent collaboration skills as you will at the heart of the commercial organization of Kubus Sports.
